Veloura · Skin mapping
Veloura photographs four views of the body so your physician can mark what to watch, what to escalate, and what has changed since last time. The tool suggests. The person in the room decides.
Photographs are taken in the practice — on the workstation or on a secure pad your physician opens for that visit. They are not uploaded to this website, and they are not stored under your legal name. Veloura keeps imaging in its own private record so a map can be compared at the next visit.
Step 1
Front, left, back, and right — the same positions each time so a mark lands on the same place next year.
Step 2
The software may highlight areas for your physician to consider. That is decision support, not a diagnosis and not a reason to skip the examination.
Step 3
Your physician places a watch mark or an escalate mark on a spot. Watch means follow it. Escalate means it needs a closer plan — often a return, a biopsy conversation, or both.
Step 4
Prior marks are drawn again on the new photographs so you and your physician can see what was stable, new, or changed.
Anyone can be mapped. It is especially useful if you have many moles, a personal or family history of skin cancer, or a spot your physician asked to watch. If a lesion is bleeding or changing this week, say so when you book — that is a medical visit first. See Skin Cancer.
Concierge membership
Spots your physician marked to watch should not wait in the general line. Membership reserves planning time to compare this visit’s map with the last one, and after-hours physician access when a marked lesion changes overnight.
Concierge fees buy enhanced access only. Medical services are billed separately. Published fees below are the access program — never a discount on an insurance copay, coinsurance, or deductible.
